Jacie Marie, 13,  has been performing her entire life. At the age of four she started taking piano classes; she got her first certificate at age 5 dancing (Merengue & Bachata) for The Latin Competition at Elizabeth Marcia Center. We knew that one day she would be our Shining Star. She started training her in singing, dancing and acting. When Jacie was 7 years old she joined the Hip Hop Kidz of New York, a Suzy Stone Production. Jacie recently finished an original musical premiere written by Monmouth County resident Sheree Rainbolt-Kren and Young Stars on the Rise called, MY FIRST KISS. Other production includes Alice in Wonderland Musical, The Wizard of Oz, Willy Wonka & The Chocolate Factory and Mary Poppins. She is currently studying piano and voice at Miller Music Studio, Hip hop at The Academy of Performing Arts, and Jazz/Ballet at The Dance Emporium. Jacie loves musical theater and hopes to achieve her goals auditioning at Juilliard School of Music. She is very grateful to her family, teachers, mentor and God...

 

 

Directors Note:  Jacie is a beautiful soul to work with. This is my second show with Jacie and I couldn't be happier with her dedication and work ethic. Jacie understands what is required to make it in the business, and is continually training and performing to keep her instrument finely tuned. It is a joy to watch.  Jacie is well known at Young Stars as the best hip hop dancer in the company. She has the full vibe! We are using her skills again in Broadway Jayne, and cannot wait for you to see her play piano for the song, I'm Always Chasing Rainbows, made famous by Judy Garland. Jacie is a serious force in motion and we are delighted to have her in this show.
